An Afternoon In The Adelaide Hills: Barossa Bowland & Dinosaur Mini Golf

I was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. It’s been my home for the past 25 years – minus the 8 months my partner Russell and I lived in Alice Springs! Unfortunately, I’ve realised I’m one of those people who has seen more of the rest of the world, than I have my own home town. So now that winter in Australia is over, spring has sprung and the sun has started to shine, I’m determined to see more of this beautiful city I call home! There is so much to see and do in Adelaide, and there’s certainly something for everyone. There wasn’t anyone who I could travel with, so I looked into solo travel. There are a ton of options available when it comes to safe and easy solo travel, but I decided to go with Contiki. I had previously heard a little about Contiki online, but not enough to make an educated decision right there and then. So I researched as much as I could on the topic, and spoke to some people I know had done a Contiki tour before. Eventually, I took a chance a booked my very first overseas solo adventure. Technically, I wasn’t traveling solo. There were over 20 other people in my Contiki group, most being fellow Australians, but there were a…
