Australian Winter Travel Essentials and Packing List

If you’re planning a visit to Australia during the months of June and August, this Australian winter travel essentials guide is perfect for you. When most people think of Australia, the first thing that probably comes to mind is hot summer days with people relaxing on the beach or going for a surf. Which yes, is actually pretty accurate. But we do also have some pretty cold winters as well. Once you spend a night in the Australian outback, your view of Australia will change. We guarantee it. That being said, our winters don’t get as cold as other countries. It doesn’t snow across the entire country, and in most places, winter is actually quite bearable. But, depending on where you’re visiting during the winter months, you’ll probably still need to be prepared. Especially if you’re planning a camping trip or road-trip across Australia.  Australian Winter Travel Essentials and Packing List Disclaimer: This…

Chateau Beachside Surfers Paradise Review, QLD

If you’re looking for the perfect budget friendly Gold Coast accomodation, look no further! Back in October 2017, we spent six nights in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Having just come from our wonderful four night stay at Ocean Vista on Alex apartments on the Sunshine Coast, we were excited for a totally different beachside experience. From a relaxing, small beachside town, to the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast – Surfers Paradise. We knew that for our visit to the Gold Coast, we wanted a hotel with an incredible view, in a great location. We came across Chateau Beachside Surfers Paradise during our search, and after seeing tons of epic beachfront view photos, we decided to book it! We booked six nights in a One Bedroom Beachfront room, and boy was it worth the money. I can’t even begin to explain the excitement I felt, when we…

Visiting the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas

The Grand Canyon is probably definitely one of the most impressive National Parks in the world. If you’ve been living under a rock (or a canyon) for your entire life, the Grand Canyon is located in Arizona, in the United States of America. No matter how you decide to explore the Canyon, I can guarantee one thing: it will not disappoint. Visiting the Grand Canyon should be at the very top of your USA bucket list, trust me! I visited the Grand Canyon back in June 2015, while on the Best of USA Contiki tour. Although we we didn’t spend too much time at the Canyon itself, it was still one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. Contiki definitely came through and organised one of the most awesome ways to explore the Canyon. Visiting the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. The Ultimate One Month Japan Itinerary

When we were planning our one month Japan itinerary, we knew we wanted to fit in as much as we could into those four weeks. Japan might be a fairly small island, but there’s an incredible amount of things to see and do. It would take an entire lifetime and then some, to just explore Tokyo. We wanted to visit as many cities as we could, tick off as much as possible, and have the time of our lives while we were at it. Well, we are happy to report that all three of those goals were achieved! We managed to travel to six different cities over a four week period. Starting in Yokohama, we then traveled to Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Nagano and finally, Tokyo. We didn’t want to spend the entire four weeks only exploring Japan’s major cities. We wanted a taste of traditional Japan amongst all of the bright neon…
